Designed with high-speed interceptions in mind, the Mirage IIIC was light, fast, and armed with twin 30mm cannons for shredding enemy bombers. It was capable of achieving Mach 2—an exceptional feat for early 60’s aircraft. Many were exported worldwide and some remain in service to this day.
